Clam Recipes. My favorite? That's easy. On a trip to Seattle 10 years ago, my cousin took me to a restaurant next to a railroad drawbridge, across the canal from Commodore Park. It was a rainy afternoon and we ate steamed clams in wine sauce and talked about old bridges and watched boats pull out from the lock in the rain.
That was the first time I tried steamed clams, but not the last. Below are recipes not only for steaming clams, but for clam chowder, clam and tomato soup, clam dip, a classic clam hash recipe and clams with risotto or pasta. Enjoy!
