Spicy Cajun Crab Cakes are as easy to make as just adding a few spices!
1 pound crab meat (we recommend fresh lump crab meat, but rinsed, canned crab meat will do, too. Rinse canned crab well.) 2 slices dried bread crumbled well, with crusts removed, or seasoned bread crumbs, crumbled well ¼ cup milk 2 tablespoons mayonnaise 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce ½ teaspoon lemon juice 1 tablespoon chopped green pepper t tablespoon chopped celery 1 teaspoon fresh parsley 1 teaspoon paprika or 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper ½ teaspoon dried mustard ¼ teaspoon salt 2 eggs, beaten
Mix all ingredients together, shape into patties. In a skillet, heat two tablespoons of oil over medium heat. When oil starts to ripple slightly, carefully place crab cakes in pan, leaving plenty of space between each cake. Fry until golden, about four minutes on each side. Serve warm. Enjoy!
